Hey /fa/

What's the consensus on Rag and Bone? I got a pair of jeans (new with tags) for Christmas and I'm wondering if I should keep or sell it on eBay. Label says its handmade in USA etc etc. Quality feels about on par with my acne/apc stuff. Is there a reason /fa/ doesn't talk about this brand more?

in a good or a bad way? Haha he also talks about APC a lot, but only to bash it.

he talks about how good it is

not that his opinion matters though. I've handled some of their pants in store and they seem pretty solid

It's alright if not over priced.
Quality/Construction is up there

It's good stuff, I've been through a couple pairs. Their cuts are a little on the conservative side but they were my go-to jeans for a year and they still feel like a second skin.

does anyone have that image that shows a list of brands and the circles of hell they're in? or some shit like that
it was basically brand listing and dante's inferno
I also think it was brown

I think I know which one you're talking about- it was like the steady progression of brands a person buys/discards? Like fauxrich to luxury, etc. I thought it was black and white.

>> No.7488310

>>7488293
yeah it may be black and white, honestly it's been a while so I probably have a wrong memory of the color.
the steady progression is ringing a bell 4sho tho

stay there- everyone irl will respect you. Just bought my first Undercover piece recently and am now realizing that the further I go, the stranger I appear to strangers.
Although I personally love my wardrobe, I am just telling you- it's okay to be in circle II.

haha, it's a trade-off. I don't regret anything, but remaining ignorantly bliss isn't the worse thing ever.
Also ps- I literally hang with the highest income bracket. They still dress like shit. I'm almost certain that the middle class cares the most about fashion.

If anyone is interested, I have a dagger blazer by R&B for sale. Color is midnight. Size 44, but fits like a US 42. Really nice quality, but I already have enough blazers.

Pic related, it's the same one.

RAG&Bone is a pretty good tier basics line
imagine a saks 5th avenue house brand that outsources everything to the leaders in their industry

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/11/06/nyregion/06tailor.html?_r=0

then takes all of it and presents it on the runway

rag&bone does not make selvedge nor raw denim, nor would i cop if they had produced sevedge or raw denim.

from my experience they're much better than acne and apc

the finishing work, the heft of the denim and the overall apererance of the stiching/detailing is better

with that said there isn't alot of resale on Rag&bone
nick wooster and i are like their only customers

Not sure about jeans, but I see a lot of their tops/shirts at places like neiman marcus last call and marshalls. Label usually says it's made in china or some south american country, and it's almost always poly/cotton blend.

i got a henley and a few sweaters from there and have nothing but good things to say honestly

I have a back stitched tee and RB15X dark grey jeans, the tee is knitted, really nice.

The jeans are nice too but they feel fragile compared to others, no holes though.
