I tend to hate varsity jackets. So bunchy and bulky. I hate the designs, with all the different lines and colors and shit (especially when the sleeves are a different color from the torso).

I would, hypothetically, be okay with a minimalist varsity jacket, that has a sleeker/more slender silhouette that the typical one, doesn't have any sort of crest/logo, and keeps the stripes to a minimum to keep an inkling of that "varsity" feel without going overboard. That could be okay.
