the thing about a good hat is

you forget that the person is wearing a hat

because it doesn't draw attention to itself

the hats that make you think "oh look another obnoxious hat" are very bold and usually excessively showpiece-y hats

i have this hat and i get compliments on it occasionally. i think it's good because its very inoffensive but at the same time looks nice and is a bit unique, different from the hats i usually see.

i like caps and beanies
i don't wear them all the time, but i do wear them fairly frequently

not a fan of bucket hats or 'formal' hats on myself, but they can look good on other people
