I see people now and then who are well enough dressed, but that's always been on busses coming through downtown. South Austin is about as poorly dressed as the rest of america. Downtown is full of hipster students, we are a hipster city. The only real substance to the word hipster as you and I use it is an element of pompousness, and thinking your well dressed when you aren't is something that many Austinites do.
