I used to dread getting my hair cut. Like most people just cut your hair into a certain model without taking your hairtype or what suits you in consideration. When i was younger i used to get properly upset about it, like someone violated my head.

Anyway, found someone that suits me and i can just walk in every 2-3 weeks for touch ups and a fresh shave (free).

I paid 0 dollars to buzz my own head to 1/8 inch. Going to minimalism now and the hair goes with that as well.

Before that I paid 60, 40 dollars plus 20 dollar tip. It was the best haircut I had ever received at that point. It would have been 80 but They gave me a pretty decent discount for being a student.

If you are ever in the Northern Virginia area check out Salon Simis. Guys barely speak English but they can cut some fucking hair.
