Honest answer, OP is that nobody here knows.

Picking a hat to suit your face is tricky business -- probably just as hard, if not harder than choosing glasses or haircuts... and it's a skill that no one has really had a need to learn.

Try on a bunch of hats and see what works. Doesn't have to be a fedora. Could be a trilby or a bowler or an akubra or a stetson or a tilley or whatever.

Just go and learn and report back. /fa/ cannot help you.

If you're handsome you may be able to wear a fedora. If you're rockstar then you may be able to wear a fedora too. Otherwise you would look either like a douche or fedoralounge neckbeard.
Same rule applies for blazers, dress shoes or anything dressy at all.
I see retards wearing dress shirts, blazers, dress shoes and such shit when only 1 out of 5 of them can wear it properly without looking like idiot. Once I saw a guy that was trying to pull off classy look with wearing a fucking pocket watch.

TL;DR : Don't wear a fucking fedora, pocket watch, chinese skeleton watches, bad fitting blazers or anything steampunk looking.
And don't try to rock a beard if you're younger than 35.

The only acceptable "fedoras" are those Panama hats, and they should be worn exclusively with shorts, sandals/boat shoes, a simple button-up shirt, and preferably while visiting a South American country. Otherwise, true fedoras should only be worn when you're 40+ and in a suit.
