I don't have any social media accounts either, so I mostly communicate with people through email. The only reason to get a smartphone would be for the "maps" app. I miss that from time to time, but I do fine without.

yeah note 4 or note 3 will probably do you just fine. if you want to keep your iOS apps though you should probably get a iPhone and stick with that (as lame as they are). If you really want to be fancy and have a phone that will last and not scratch get the LG Flex. My favorite phone on the market currently :3
