Price & Shipping:
I used taobaoring, but most taobao agents seem to have similar conditions.
I ended up paying ~135$ for both pairs incl. shipping + ~12$ for German customs
They took almost a month to ship

Sizing & Comfort:
I usually wear size 42.5-43 and wore both shoes for one night
I got the black/white ones in 42/43 and they have a decent fit though the toebox is a bit weirdly shaped so my toe is pressing against the shoe a bit though this might break in. The sole isn't really comfortable but it isn't like your legs will fall off if you wear them for a day.
The black ones are size 43 and seem to fit a size too big, so I can't make an unbiased judgement but I'll tell you why that doesn't even matter in the next post

Build Quality:
I have never seen real Geobaskets so I obviously can't compare to them.
Anyways, the black/white ones are decently built and try to replicate the Geobasket properly with all the details. I think they're even made from real leather.
The black ones are really shit. You can tell that they're cheap plasticky stuff from the first glance. They're almost like a fake from a fake. The zippers are shit, one of them is only working every third time.
Both shoes have this ripple sole

As a conclusion, I'd say that the more expensive ones are worth it. I'm gonna wear them for a while and see whether the fit will get better. The cheaper ones are at most viable to wear for as a costume or sth. I wouldn't even bother with them.

I think the takeaway is that if you aren't/can't save up for real ones (even secondhand), then you should only buy them if you don't mind cheap leather, awkward/inconsistent fit, and poor quality notions. If you want a toy you'll throw away after some wears, go for it. If you want a shoe you can actually wear, then avoid.
