This is why you buy the Anglosphere manufactured versions. Gooks can't into leather.

Best boots always come from The Yanks, after that comes the U.K. (if you pray they weren't made by Paki's) and Italy (they're kind of white).

>> No.7344878

>>7344808
People whose only other experience with shoes are 5 dollar kmart specials.
Sure, of course Chinese made docs are a step up.
Don't be cheap; order the UK made ones - they're not that much more.
That or Solovair, who at least have never tried to screw over their customers like docs.

You can add the dominions as a subsection of the UK part: Australia and Canada still make pretty good boots too.

if you're getting 8 eyelet docs you're just wasting your money if you're not getting docs for life http://www.drmartensforlife.com/

UK maid docs have much better leather, but they take 4x longer to break in. After 1 month of wear the heel was still tough but i fixed it by using a hammer on it.

I'm not a fan of Doc Martens.

The craftsmanship is probably better than any boots in the price range, and they're actually made in England.

I hate the styling though.

workboot tier meaning they're ... durable?

>> No.7344974

>>7344892

Anglosphere does imply that already but yeah.

Red Wings are a favorite, Whites are snazzy but not much selection for good looking ones.

L.L. Bean is another good American brand, if for nothing else than the original Katahdin comes in a colour that is uncommon.

Lowa is a German made brand, appearance wise they're shit but if you ever need any for practical use they're really, really fucking good.

I saw a cool pair of Jackboot type deals being worn well once, I asked and they were made in France by Aigle (Agle?)

Anyway my original point is 8 year old children can't do anything right, and that's why Asians, Mudslimes and Darkies can't make good boots.

I mean that they're used by common labourers like farmers, contractors, construction workers and all that. They're durable, but also disposable because they're inevitably so knackered and covered in cement and cow blood and shit.
I think they make hiking boots too, but that's another matter.

For "finer footwear" it's RM's and Baxter - but only one or two models of the latter as the rest are made in china.
Baxters are not workboot tier, more like police constable tier.

Because stupid goyim faggots think its worth forsaking your country and race to save $50. Same reason why every other form of manufacturing was ever sourced out to lesser countries.

>When did most of them stop being made in England?
In 2003. Which explains why they just disappeared from the scene after that for a few years. No one wanted to buy them.
Kids in this current era are just not that discerning, hence their more recent surge back into ubiquity.

>> No.7345052

I have to disagree, American made boots and English made DM's are surging back into popularity.

If anything the ones you need to hate are the jew capitalists and their all too willing consumers of the 1980s and 1990s that started this trend.

docs are great looking boots, theyll only look better with age and wear, and they will last forever,
but, no-one is willing to admit, that they are not comfortable, at least they wont be, for at least a year,
least, least, least,
oh and the best advice i can give you is,
theyre big sizes, at least the UK ones are, so youd be best trying them before you buy them, if theyre too big, then they wont be comfortable, i made the mistake with my first pair, theyre just slightly too big on the ankle.

>> No.7345072

>I have to disagree, American made boots and English made DM's are surging back into popularity.
Yeah, but amongst what demographic?
By kids I meant teenybopper >17yr old grills who seem to be the main wearers of docs these days.

>>7345038
>Because stupid goyim faggots think its worth forsaking your country and race to save $50.
I think it as more of a case that the company wanted to make more money, because when they did outsource to asia they kept the prices the same.I'm sure they saved a hell of a lot more than 50bucks per boot.

That's why I'll always, if some one really must wear this style of boot, to go Solovair or Tredair or Grinders or whoever else; DM tried to screw over their buyers so fuck them in their fucking fugly faces.

Too fucking true. Anyone that just goes off and orders shit like this without trying them first deserves all the discomfort that comes with ill fitting shit. They're not sneakers people.

Uh I'll admit that. I have Made in England 1914's and they made my heels bleed more than once, just from walking around for an hour or two.

They also destroyed a couple pairs of wool socks. I had to literally get sand paper and work the balls out of the back of the heel, and apply some coconut oi to the inside leather and the seams.

Now they're amazingly comfortable, but yeah. The break in period is not for pussies.

A typo - I meant 50 pairs a day, not a year. Shit you're right. 50 pairs a years is like Viberg or something. 50 pairs a day as opposed to the thousands a day made in the East.

Also,it's not really their factory.
They used to use Solovair, amongst others, before they sent ALL their production to China and Thailand (and perhaps even Vietnam - though that may be a case of the sneaky chinese sending shit down along the line to get stuff made even cheaper - what a slippery slope of shit it is). I don't know who they use today.
Would've been a hell of a lot of pissed off ex-workers hanging around from when they first bailed.
