So did you all know that Lagerfeld is in2 small, pubescent boys b/c he was molested as a kid?

I still look up to the guy but he's getting old and needs to relinquish the throne. He's losing his touch and the work's suffering.

I like some of the stuff he made for Chanel, though. Was a fan of his during HS. thought Chanel was classy as shit.

i would, cause they should express themselves. when older they will need that experience to chose outfits.

Seconding this.
I remember walking to gas stations up the street from my house and waiting for the sock man to deliver 6x tall tees in front of the brick-and-mortars. I paired them with Girbaud jeans, AF 1s and every known specimen of fitted hat. In a word, I was the plebiest of pleb. Pleb squared.

I wore a uniform throughout hs, and pretty much every school level I went through for that matter, that when I met people that said they didn't have to wear a uniform for school I thought that was strange.

There were 2 uniforms:
School formal uniform: White oxford shirt - french cuffs - light blue school blazer - light blue scool tie - charcoal grey pants - black capped oxfords or black docs derbies.

House formal:
Grey blazer (my house colour was grey) - light blue oxford shirt - grey tie - same pants and shoes.

I was always jelly of the other boys' houses that had nicer colours than fucking grey - at least they got to wear a decent colour for a blazer.

Wasn't to bad, slim fit levi's, blank t-shirts/sweaters with blank jackets if it was wet/cold. and nike/vans/new balance. most of my stuff was bought at thrift shops, on sale, or given to me as a chirstmass present, the only thing i spent a lot of money on was shoes but thats pretty much everyone at HS.

I was like this too. looking back on the jeans I wore it's absolutely disgusting how not a single pair fit well. I didn't like wasting things, and since I was still growing I'd get larger pants and just use a belt to make them "fit"

I also wore garbage graphic tees through most of middle and high school. last year or so of high school I started wearing band tees that I got from concerts. step up from the threadless tier graphic tees.

also wore large skate shoes in middle school. by high school I just wore converse.

It was fun reading those books when being there though, but our dining hall wasn't anywhere near as cool as that one in the films and no magic.

Well, when I went to my private school it was
>White business shirt
>Grey slacks
>Blue and gold vertical stripe blazer
>Blue and gold horizontal stripe tie
>Oxfords

But now I go to a TAFE (ausfag here) so I just wear jeans, boots, plain coloured tee (either white, grey or burgundy) and an SoA hoodie.

I am so prepared for the hate I get for wearing a hoodie with a massive graphic on it.

Halfway through senior year I decided to become /fa/. It's been a gradual transformation but I think I'm doing on okay job now. The one thing that was always on point was my jeans. I'd been rocking slim/skinny jeans since sixth grade. I remember getting a ton of hate back then because skinny jeans weren't really in style though (or maybe the people around me were too pleb to appreciate them).

My uniform, because im australian

>> No.7307688

and you guys get cool uniforms wow

all i had was:

ugly-ass stretchy fabric polo shirt available in blue (like literally the shade of the primary colour) and white. The blue one also had the proportions of a tall tee.

pants were dress pants.

shoes were either boxy loafers or ridiculously hideous leather shoes with laces.

I literally tried to dress fedora-lounge tier. Except I never asked my parents for new clothes, so I wore baggy ass jeans with a tucked in baggy ass oxford and slicked my hair to the side for #madmenhair

I then wore my father's gold watch and running shoes. I sometimes attached a tie or put on a hoodie when it was cold.
