I need a fucking coat. Not the worst winters here, but gets close to -20C, I know they're not too bad considering other places but whatever. I'm getting a decent jacket but I need a heavier coat. I want a mid-long black parka, it doesn't need to be slim-fitting but I don't want it to look to big/especially puffy. I'm about half an inch under 6' and in reasonably good shape. Can you recommend anything?

They fit huge. I normally wear a large but ordered a medium and it fit well enough, but maybe a few millimeters on the big side. A wash/dry will shrink it slightly but not much. I would advise getting the banded collar version; the one with the regular has a huge 1970s mode: engaged collar.

Very warm if you wear it with a jumper. I live pretty far up north in england and it gets pretty damn cold here already but when I wear it only my hands get cold because I have no gloves yet. Even then the chest level pockets have woolly lining inside to warm your hands.

I simply don't bother with being /fa/ half the year. It's so dark outside no one ever sees what you're wearing outside anyway. And I don't want to freeze my cock off either, so I keep it functional.
