Older US service boots are alright. Vietnam era to just before the 90s. They're all over ebay for less than $50.

Pic related. The ones on the right. Others are Wolverines.

Corcorans are good, but they're bulky and don't pair as well to fitting pants. French double buckle Mle. 52s are nice as fuck if you search outside of milsurp. For daily wear, I've got a pair of Palladiums, which are close enough to the originals.

I just narrow it down to militaria and search for boots when I'm looking for a new pair:

If you're a size 11:

I would ideally need an 11 US, but 10.5 (my true size) and 11.5s keep popping up on ebay. probably gonna cave and go a full size up or tts, but I don't know which way to go. fu

If you're not gunna button the top, fuck the neck. Go for something that fits well around the places you are buttoning it. Or, buy a shirt with fitting neck and get it tailored. Or buy a tailor made shirt.

Asos one's £40. You'll wear it for a few months then it'll break or you'll bin it. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but depends how much you think you're going to want to maintain that style of coat.

I don't know anything about Pointer, I think I used to own something pointer and it was above malltier quality but nothing special. It's worth noting though that at £95 you'll get charged duty, and if it doesn't get paid in advance you have no say which company clears it and what fees they'll slap on top.

If they do free Con US shipping check out Borderlinx - I've used them before and it was very easy and intuitive. I decided to risk another shipment because shipping was so cheap, but got stung thanks to Parcelforce on the way in.
