Well, the duffle coat I wanted is now sold out. I can't afford the saint laurent and I don't want a really cheap one either.

Is peacoat a bad idea? There are a few I am looking at which are nice and in my price range. I don't care about whether they are out of the current trend. But will I still be happy with it in 5 years?

I wear dadcore stuff to work at an office. It is hard to find a good duffle coat that is mid length, can't do one too long because not tall.

might be the best jacket I have ever seen. i don't usually hype clothing all that much, but that shit is god tier.
Anyway yeah sure coats are nice. It's a good coat to have in your collection for a long time, so get a good quality one, but don't wear it everyday or it gets tiresome.

Actually, I am looking at burberry. Seems like a good price for the quality and fit, even if made in 3rd world.

The question is whether I should hold out for the right duffle, will I regret getting a peacoat?

Don't limit yourself to only the peacoat and it will look good when you wear it. Save up for the duffle though, especially if you can eventually get dat saint laurent one. too fucking good to pass up.

Thing is, I have an employee discount for a particular retailer and they don't carry that saint laurent duffle so my choices are somewhat restricted.

My wardrobe is so minimal (2poor for coats) I would have to wear it quite often in winter, so I especially don't want to cheap out.
