if you write
"this is a /fa/ thing"
do you say
>a /fa/ meaning a fan
or
>an /fa/ meaning an effay

If someone doesnt clearly explain to me what effay is and what a fuccboi is, I'm going to google-define:x, and I don't want to be the guy who has to do that.

effay: a term that's just short for "fashionable," a lot of people assume it's short for /fa/ but it didn't even originate here. a person who's into clothes will probably understand you if you say "hey your scarf is pretty effay" and it sounds less lame than "your scarf is pretty fashionable," so it's what fashionable people default to most of the time.

fuccboi is a mixture of french and english (frenglish?) and it's kind of a bastardization. it's basically an affectionate way of calling someone a little dim, but also considered slightly vulgar. you'd call your friend a fuccboi, and your brother, but not your mom or grandma or teacher. because it's french and english, most of the time it's pronounced "fooj-bwah" but some people pronounce it with a hard c, so it sounds more like "fook-bwah."

This is untrue.
OP please never use these terms outside the internet. But if I were to pronounce /fa/ I'd say it as effay

Ph-a, as in the first syllables of the word fashion. It's the same a /mu/, which is pronounced "mew"
