I was 145lbs 6'3, so pretty much your weight and I could do it so you can to. Eating is hard at the beginning but it gets easier as your energy needs go up from training. I can now eat 3500 calories pretty easily. I didn't even train super consistently and I still made gains.

Don't worry about eating good carbs and bad carbs and all that bullshit, just eat anything and as much as you can and focus on at least 150g of protein a day for starters.

it's honestly not that much. I used to train p. heavily for ice hockey, eating at around 2500/day and I still do train however not like I used to. I am 5'10 and I used to weigh 180 pounds at 14% BF when I played a lot of puck. Right now I'm 5'10 150 at 10%. My weight right now is unheard of to play at (way too light) but I feel 10x better than when I was heavier.
Right now I'm eating 1200 cals of lean food with no carbs.

Here's a basic plan 5 u:

Breakfast:
>3 eggs cooked in either butter or bacon grease
>some bacon
>coffee / water
>protein shake (these add up cals fast)

Lunch:
>chicken caesar calad w/ bacon, cheese etc.

>lamb chop or some type of steak

Dinner (not past 8 pm)
>more steak/meat, you can even get into hamburgers without the bun or something, or a whole grain bun
> green vegetables like brocoli, green beans etc., maybe even another salad
> some nuts to snack on afterwards

Also, try to have some snacks during the day, like hardboiled eggs, peanut butter cookies (on the back of the tub they have recipes, just don't put sugar and you're fine), or almonds.

That'll put you right up there at 3000, probably even more.

Sorry but your understanding of nutrition and physiology is not that great. Gaining and losing weight is all about your total calorie intake not what you eat. I'm not going to go into it because I could go on for days but I've spent thousands of hours researching these things.

I eat as much as I can and just track my weight on the scale, If I notice i'm gaining weight to fast tone it down a little and if I'm gaining slowly I'll increase food intake.

However others are different. My knowledge of this stuff is perfectly accurate, I've been dealing with this type of thing for a p. long time through my own experiences and a ton of my friends are gymrats, so I know theirs too. Sugar is also not good for you at all dude. At the end of the day though, this stuff is pretty subjective to whoever's body it is. You're probably right about your body, I know I'm right about mine. even at my lightest I've got wide hipbones so I'll never have that really trim waist line that is truly /fa/. I also have big thighs.

I take solace in that I have a broad chest/shoulders/back even though I haven't worked out in ages, a p. good looking face, good hair, and I'm 6 1 so at least I'm not short and stocky. I also have the type of body where the top of my abs sorta sticks out so I've just got a big core in general.

I've gained like 15 lbs since leaving college in the summer and need to do something about that, but I'm finally accepting that I'll always have a thick core and know I just have to work with it.

I don't have a set routine but I do a push/pull type of routine. One day is pushing exercises the next day is pulling exercises.

So:
monday: chest/shoulders/triceps
tuesday:biceps/back
wednesday: chest/shoulders/triceps
thursday:biceps/back
friday:chest/shoulders/triceps

something like that, I take rest days based on how I feel rather than a set day.
