What is /fa/s opinion on tailoring regular clothes? Like jeans and the like? Or are they not worth the expense?

pic unrelated sick fit tho

>> No.7226361

Yes you can tailor jeans. wtf you can tailor whatever you want

>> No.7226374

>>7226361
question is is it worth it

>> No.7226369

it's going to cost less than $20 for most shit

it's not worth it when that price is like 1/2 of what you paid for it though B^)

Anyone have experience tailoring their own clothes?

I've got a sowing machine and like 10 years ago in junior high I made a pretty ok fishing hat.

How well do you think I would succeed in trying to hem and slim down some of my own pants?

your shitty topman or asos jeans are not worth tailoring
any decent pants will probably require hemming

>>7226376
hemming looks easy enough but i have never tried it
tapering legs and such looks a little harder. i think >>>/cgl/ will probably be able to answer this better than /fa/

/cgl/ is way too freaky for me.

I guess I'll go ahead and try tailoring some of my older pants & jeans I'm no longer using before moving on to my regular ones.
