Hey fa I need some advice
I recently bought some apc new standards and found they're way too baggy for my liking except they're pretty snug in the thigh cuz I have sorta chubby thighs.

I wanted to return them for APC's petit standards of the same size but they have a 10.5 inch thigh instead of an 11 like the new standards

My question is is that .5 inches really a lot? am I gonna notice it?
Also do thighs on APC's stretch? If the 10.5 petit standards stretched to the size of the new standards (11 inches) that would be perfect

Luckily for you, they've made a cut specifically for what you want called the Petit New Standard. It has the thigh and rise of the New Standard and the tapered leg of the Petit Standard.

yea i returned my NS last month lol. I don't like the baggy fit too.

I've had me PS for a few months and they have stretched a bit. u wont notice. PS fit super snug if ur looking for some skinny shit. the thighs fit more snug on me than the leg.

are you looking for loose thighs but a more skinny/tapered leg???

N&F makes great tapers and so does unbranded (obvs)

the thighs do look kind of snug, but if they're uncomfortable, you should size up. PNS in the same size should be perfect if all you want is a more tapered leg

>>7197087
yeah bruh, and if not, you can buy off their site and return them in the store

it actually has a narrower lower leg than a petit in the same size. i tried on a 28 in the nps--was baggy around my crotch but I could barely get my foot through the leg opening. got the ps in a 28 and the leg opening is considerably larger

the petit standard is still a little tighter than i want though. I might try he new standards in a 27. so hard to find the perfect fit

I know, that's why I fucking gave up on APC and switched to N&F for entry level denim

both use china denim.

with china supplied selvedge

made in china > made in canada

note: this excludes all high end denim such as MI dior selvedge, and even entry level japanese denim > MIC

Is there a way to not only filter him, but filter any posts that respond to him?

because you're right, he does shit up everythread he posts in.
i know it won't stop, and i ignore his posts but eventually threads are just people arguing with him.

im sure they do lol

becuase vintage shuttle looms are fucking plentiful right?

im sure APC, 25dollarjeans.com and other brands make every aspect of their denim rather than go through various supply chains and that sort of shit and shit right?

there are brands that make every aspect of their silk or textile products. but it's not going to be the shit found in YOUR closet

unless you happen to be wearing hermes

read his posts.
maybe he's being somewhat decent in a thread, but when you start to browse /fa/ a lot, you'll notice he has to post in every thread.
and that's normal for trips who want to show off, but he always is so negative and not even in an interesting way.
he has incredibly extreme views and opinions, and is not interested in learning or discussing, just proving why he's right.

i can break down his mind frame, but only if you're interested.

he is bad, because people respond, and it isn't "fun." it's just more and more negativity and ignorance, thread after thread.
it's humorless, bland, annoying and brings /fa/ down overall.

tbh, it's the only time a poster has ever annoyed me to the point of even considering filtering.
it's just bullshit.

got a 28. I typically wear 29s. The 29 also happened to fit pretty well when i tried them on (so i set that as my base/tts) so i sized down one from there to compensate for any stretching.

take a look at threads currently going on, and it'll be pretty clear.

i know nothing will ever be done to stop him, and he'll never quit posting, but like i said, it's really bad.
other trips here like Trunks, constantly shitpost and bring no useful content, but it's different. even though it's stupid, pointless and negative, it is "empty" and doesn't get much reaction.
that isn't the case with sieg.

>> No.7197339

sieg actually has reason to post with a bit of fury in this thread. anons are claiming that a bunch of entry level denim brands create their own denim??? like APC owns their own denim looms or something? even the top tier brands don't own the means of production; they just get it from the best sources.

but yeah sieg is overall a shit poster that values $ over style like some weakass rapper decked out in HBA. probably block him yeah

You're nothing
All your money comes from your family what fucking right do you have to call other poor? Have you ever had a job that pays more than 20$ an hour? Even if you have I bet you bought clothes with your parents money still. I remember a post today where you said your job was spending your family's money. I don't have a problem with that but don't go around making fun of other people for not having as much money as you as if you earned it.
You aren't your parents accomplishments fuccboi

i really haven't read this thread.
i just saw him posting in his typical way, and derailing yet another thread.
maybe he isn't even derailing THIS thread. there is at least four currently active threads he has.

plus there are much better ways of communicating and making a case than with anger.

for one, if he would look and understand their side, and their reasoning, he could explain why they are wrong in a much more helpful way.

like i said, i don't know what this thread is about, but i'm sure that could somehow be applied.

with him it's "NO I AM RIGHT. YOU ARE SCUM OF THE EARTH RETARDED"
when it's much more effective/helpful and beneficial to say, "the problem with what you're saying is ____ because ___."

>> No.7197378

>>7197361

there is a lot more than anger. it's self-hatred and depression too.

in some ways i relate, that's why i can understand.
but i handle it differently. i get what makes up his mind frame, and even what his "goal" is, but he is failing to reach people. his throught process is bad, and i think it may be a lack of awareness.

honestly though, i don't really care.
i just don't want to see his posts, or any responses to his post and i can't figure out how to do it.
