W2C good sweater for around $50 to $60?

Also, recommendations on good shetland sweaters? (budget is more like $120 for a shetland).

I heard uniqlo's sweaters fit very odd.

I heard the quality went down a lot. They are made in China now apparently. I love the way their shetlands look though.

bump for interest

I'm thinking about copping some sweaters from COS. Are there any better stores for sweaters and stuff in europe?

Also do all wool sweaters itch or is it just the cheap ones?

no problem.
the aran knits/fishermans sweaters work on everyone

I've only bought one sweater from them and it's cotton. The material is quite thin and not all that soft, but it feels durable enough and the cut is v. nice

I got some of those heattech ones from Uniqlo and I'm actually very satisfied with the fit and the material. Thicker and more like a knit than the merino ones. And I was noticeable warmer too. I wasn't actually outside, so I don't know how that compares, but I did notice when I was taking them off it was a bit of a relief.

Beware the colors are much darker in real life. The lightest grey I'd consider a medium grey and the dark one is practically a light black

pics? What size did you get/ what are your measurements?

Don't want to start a new thread. I'm looking for a solid, pure white hoodie. Something with a nice fit and no zipper. Cool with paying more for higher quality

any recommendations?

what's the name for sweaters that have bits of blue/red/yellow/green yarn mixed in? I've heard speckled or flecked, but they look quite different from the one in pic. Some people have said donegal tweed/wool too.

Im 6'1 and 140lbs
I have like 5 sweaters all in medium, they fit perfect.
Notes.
The extra fine merino wool is gorgeous and incredibly soft but really really thin.
The cashmere blend is soft and a little thicker but pills like a bitch.
The lambswool blend looks good but is a little rough and is probably going to stretch in the arm and neck openings (its already starting too)
The heavy gauge lambswool is my personal favorite. Comfortable, gorgeous as fuck, thick enough (still not very thick though) cheap and probably is going to last the longest.
