I have always been interested in alchemy and old english text (lineage from Ireland and Englad on my father's side) and it was simple science affecting/answering complex issues. I'm not set on it, but thought it was a striking symbol and an interesting way of messaging my past and future. I also find the dispute of alchemy with the church of the time really interesting. The church wanted to stop the practice because it would affect their dogmatic beliefs and would invite discovery rather than acceptance.

Could easily be considered "classy" atheist bullshit but I'm not against religion, and in general I don't think alchemy is really that fedoracore unless you're using that shit anime as an entry or background for knowledge.

It's pretty complex but my back is going to be an entire portrait of the cultural artifacts that represent my native indigenous ancestry's religious beliefs which was the middle man of heaven and hell, the in between of good and bad. I'm bad at describing it but maybe in a few months when I'm inked of the body suit, you'll get the picture (literally), I'll post and everyone will hate.
