sup guys

i've decided i'm going to cop a pair of Richard "Rick" "Ricardo" "Tricky Rick" "Ricky Dicky" "Dick Ovens" "Scooby" Owens geobaskets, because i still like those things after being around for years.
here's my current plan:
>activate mr. krabs mode, spend absolutely no money on food, clothes, etc. in order to accumulate $$$ as quickly as possible
>head to some boutique in melrose to try on a pair, for sizing
>once i know my size for sure, look around for a used pair first
>if that fails, i'll just get em new from ssense or something

that being said, if anyone can hmu with some leads or advice that will streamline this process (sizing, sellers, how to save money) that'd be much appreciated.

and finally, any concrete details on the rick x adidas shoes, like when those are coming out, how much they'll retail for, and w2c? i like those too and i'm considering getting those instead of geos if they'll be accessible

Always look for used pairs first. That new feel is best feel, but I bought a pair for 540 euro that have been worn like 3 times. However, I looked daily for nearly 3 months. If really want a pair, you'll wait. And hopefully by the time you do find a pair for cheaper than retail, you'll know for sure whether you do really want them or not.

Leather/nylon combos for $690. All leather for $790. All Rick boutiques will have some. Progressive retailers (Antonioli, LVR, Oki-Ni) will also have some. Will delivery roughly when the men's delivery comes in, no later than mid-February.

meh. don't bother with used geobaskets. you can find really great deals on a lot used items, getting them for a fraction of the cost, but not really geobaskets. moderately used ones still go for like 50-75% of retail, compared to most items that go for like 20-30%. you'll feel much more satisfied getting a brand new pair in a brand new box - opening it and revealing the brand new rick smell.
