Admitedly it's a joke, but you get the idea. MFA is more basics, it's generic fashion, at a cheap price. I wouldn't say MFA dress well, I mean, I guess they do, but it's nothing special, it's bland fashion, better than cargo shorts and a graphic t, but they're not breaking boundaries by singing the praises of the peacoat and boat shoes, and praising stores like Banana republic and JC Penny.

MFA is more polite and welcoming, especially through the "middle phases" of learning to dress. I've seen /fa/ be polite to the totally clueless, but merciless to the mediocre.

/fa/ has a bigger hard-on for absurdly expensive "art fashion," while MFA looks for reasonably priced "regular dude fashion."

If you aren't careful, MFA will have you dressing like a boring clunky dad, and /fa/ will have you spending $1,000 on fucktarded, enormous shoes.

i think /fa/ represents what 4chan used to be, when compared to MFA.

i think, statistically, /fa/ strives to be a bodytype that very few people want. while people on MFA tend to go for the "first year in college, advise me some boat shoes please???" shit.

i dont want to say EVERYONE is like this, because i know most people on /fa/ are just lurkers who arent /fa/ themselves, but people on /fa/ are assumed to be more extreme. starving themselves and using shit like estrogen and caffeine to accentuate their facial features. i dont think MFA typically goes to such an extent. As an endnote, id say MFA is the first step when getting out of highschool and deciding that they dont want to wear 20 dollar wrangler jeans anymore. /fa/ again is more extreme in this regard, as they skip that point and go straight to DRKSHDW and shit like that
