I have similar hair too.
I'm not German myself, but half my family immigrated from Germany though.
I didn't realize that this was a German thing.
Any suggestions are welcome too. I have no idea how to really style my hair. One person said to try it styled upward when it gets more length.

I'm really similar here, except when it is short it all seems to lift up at the ends, the problem is it almost looks spiked, and makes me look younger I feel. I'll post two pics, any feedback would be appreciated, I would like to look older, seeing as how I'm turning 20 soon and could pass for 15.
