Spending that 70 dollars to get a cologne will give you way more compliments and presence than a shirt/shoe/sweater that costs the same.
Worthwhile investment if you ask me.

If you do wear a cologne, which one do you wear? I'm looking to get my first bottle. Pic related is one that I'm considering.

I have worked in a fragrance shop for five years and I have a secret to share: women do not give a shit about men's cologne brands. Women come in all the time looking for gifts for their dads/husbands/whatever and all they ask for is either "spicy" or "fresh" and then they just buy whatever is cheapest. Just find sometjing you like and don't worry about the brand, cause your girl sure as hell doesn't.

You can also try on feminine fragances, some are quite strong and you'll lessen the odds of meeting another guy that smells like you.

Sup scent twin? I tend to wear CdG 2 Man on a night out or a cold day. I seem to smell it more on a crisp, cold day. I'm had 2 comments from wearing it at work.

One girl said she liked it and asked what it was. The other was a guy who said it wasn't really his cup of tea. I got about 4 compliments from wearing Tom Ford - Noir to work all from girls. However it is quite a sweet, girly smelling fragrance. I wouldn't normally wear it for work, it's definitely a more sensual, black tie, night out kind of fragrance and can be quite sickly sweet, cloy and overpowering if used in the wrong way.

I can't really remember, but I liked arctic jade and vanilla marble. I'm a guy, but I think they all fit as unisex fragrances since they're not over-the-top in any type of smell (too floral, too musky etc).
Might go and smell them tomorrow and report back if the thread is still alive.
They have a sample pack too if you're really intrigued: http://store.agonistparfums.com/product/samples

Is your comment serious? Honestly ive thought about adding this to my collection. But its fairly similar to pure havane already. And I find the pepper and spice at the begining is very offensive to some. You can get it for hella cheap so its tempting though. Do you get compliments from young girls or old? Or just dudes? Serious question. Its just one of those frags I think that is more for the wearer and not if you want compliments imo.

I grew up there, just looking for some new shops to check out.
If you just moved there check out Sendlinger Straße, especially Stierblut. They have cool stuff.

Cartier Declaration is my favorite. Women don't stop coming up to smell me and ask me what I am wearing when I have it on.

I actually wore it today because I read your post yesterday, but man it's so unforgiving. The scent itself is absolutely fantastic. I found wonderwood to be very boring, but 2 man really has a unique and characteristic smell that doesn't even seem like a designed perfume, more like some actual kind of specially treated wood, like it's a natural scent.
that is of course cool, but it's so strong and acrid and so characteristic that around noon (it's just past 2 p.m. here) I almost get sick because I smell it all the time although I just used one stroke. you are right in that it's a smell for late autumn or winter, because it's so dark, warm and voluminous. but putting it on during the day is just not working for me, it always seems a notch too much.

I'm 18 so I couldn't tell you how it'd work for older guys but I'd assume its more of a younger person's cologne. It's mostly girls that I get compliments from, and a few guys have noticed it and enquired about it

Try one spray on the chest, or maybe spraying it as a mist in front of you and then walking into the mist. This way it's not all concentrated onto one area and should be lightly distributed.

Kind of hard to explain.
