Pic related me swimming in it. I'll use it for torrential downpours this winter but not for much else.

For the price it's not a bad parka construction-wise, but definitely size down.

It has all the basics you need for a decent waterproof jacket. Barely any seams, and they're taped, hood is mulitple point adjustable, and the super comfy fleece collar/zipper guard is great. I don't like the elasticized cuffs (I prefer something adjustable), but they fit fairly well on me. My only complaint is that it's easily the least breathable of their hardshells. But I've only ever noticed on my ~40 minute bike rides in downpours. IMO I would consider the Hydrofoil (extra $25) if you aren't getting it on sale. It has all the same as the Aquanator plus adjustable cuffs, and underarm vents. And marginally better water-resistant coating.
