Hey /fa/

I've been dressing monochrome for several months now and I'm growing so fucking bored of it. Problem is I never was too good with colors and such.

Thus, what are some good color palettes that I can base a wardrobe on ?

use neutral colours heavly
navy, gray, beige, brown
they tend to go with almost anything

and then maybe add some muted tones
olive, burgundy, stuff like that, to make things a bit more interesting

black and white tend to have more of a "pop"

for example i might wear navy jeans, brown boots and a dark grey jumper, which are all neutral shades. swap the grey jumper for a burgundy one to make things a little brighter

here's gosling for you

>be monochrome for 2011-12
>start getting inspired by folkcore/medieval simple linen work shirts
>incorporate ecru linen shirts instead of white dress shirts (one of the best fashion decisions i made)
>replace all jeans with textured wool trousers (grey or brown)
>get black or brown or tan or POSSIBLY BUT NOT USUALLY grey coats
>incorporate almost any colour accessory
i think i have developed a stype which totally expresses me finally. i can dress it down for hiking/summer wear easily or put on a linen blazer and look like a dandy (except i dont have enough to dress like it every day yet, most of my wardrobe is boring af dress shirts and #edgy black shit)
that was my solution anyways, experiment. i suggest trying out ecru linen/brown wool at least.

My wardrobe was nothing but black and white, but since it got so damn popular I added red, royal blue, and camel colors. Hell, so many compliments and random people talking to me.
I guess this only works for girls.
