So, I bought a pair of jeans last week and now they have a small hole in them (burn mark from cigarette).

I know it's my fault but it really sucks because I only bought the jeans a week ago. Do you think the store (Uniqlo) will give me a refund or let me change them? Or should I just ask for a refund and hope they don't notice the hole? It's kinda noticeable though...

I work at Uniqlo, so no.

I could just say they were like that when I bought them and wanna change them. Hmm. Do they really check thoroughly or do they turn a blind eye if they see a defect?

Or.... try and fix the hole and just wear the jeans when I don't need to look smart. Shame cos I really like them.

Well I went clubbing and next day I noticed the hole. Someone with a cigarette must have brushed up against me.

you can try if you want to give it a go but there's no guarantee they'll comply
