I just ordered:

-ADA style glass co2 diffuser
-canister filter
-ADA style lily pipes
-fluval substrate for plants

I was going to build in iwagumi from the day I bought it, but I couldn't source enough dwarf hair grass. so I had to grow enough for my tank to get the runners to propagate.

this was carpeted and it's going to be cut apart and planted in a week or so

took about 7 months to carpet a small canister under DIY co2 (just an empty voss glass water bottle with a bulkhead on the lid, filled with yeast, sugar, baking powder mixture air line led to an airstone)

didn't work as well as I wanted so im going to modify a spare soda-stream canister to work with a microdiffuser .

not an expert but I think ada uses thinker glass, that way it's possible to have the minimal look without the tank bowing.
also there's less iron is the glass so it's clearer than the average tank.
