For many people I think buying CPs will be a waste of money.

Just because muh durability & muh quality, it doesn't justify the prize for the plain aesthetics of the shoes.

I like minimalistic, versatile, plain and stylish shoes aswell but there are other shoe brands that offer exactly that aswell for a much more affordable price (like 4 times cheaper) - they'll probably last you 5 years instead of 8 years, but you all know you'll get bored of your shoes and buy new pairs in that time span anyway.

It is quite evident that most of the people here that suggest people to buy Common Projects' shoes, or the ones that want to buy them are simple in it for the branding.

If you're not a student with minimum income and love spending lots of money on minor details and overall stupid shit, then go for it. But for those that are, know that there are alternatives.

I know what style I'd like to work towards but I don't know how to achieve it in terms of designers and brands, etc.

So basically I'm into very casual, relaxed wear, with toned, faded colors (nothing flashy, but nothing too understated, I don't know if I'm being clear).

I like cosy colors, like brown, some shades of blue and red, pale mixes of colors like pic related, etc. Nothing agressive, overall relaxed stuff.

I want my wardrobe to be relatively utilitarian, with garments that are comfortable and don't restrict my movements too much (especially tops). Clothes that are versatile in terms of use (I don't care for, nor do I need, formal wear). Overly fragile garments that need a shitload of care (again, especially tops/knits) are the opposite of what I'm looking for. I want to be able to wear the stuff in most circumstances without it turning to shit; that requires good build quality and use of high end materials and fabrics.

The perception I'd like to give off with my outfits would be relatively chill, not too "dressed up", not formal at all. Just warm colors with good fits (I don't want tees or sweaters/zip ups to be loose as fuck, though I don't mind that for hoodies).

What should I look into, in your opinion? Talking about brands, mainly for shoes/boots, tees/shirts, knitwear, sweaters and outerwear.

I think you're asking for very conflicting things, not sure if there's one brand that could cater for all that.

Possibly look at hiking and outdoor labels then look at their more casual wear. It's usually inspired by their technical pieces while aesthetically looking like everyday clothing. They also look to nature for their colour palette which sounds like what you want.

Lurk more and collect inspo picture so you can get a more refined idea of what you want and so we can understand you better.

Stuff like Stone Island maybe? Visvim? The latter isn't necessarily outdoorsy, but their color palette seems to fit my taste (relaxed, warm, etc)

Versatile, non fragile, high end materials - speaks of sports and tech wear.
cosy colours, comfy, your pic - makes me think of knits and high maintenance garments.

idk about brands, can't think of any but obvious: Outlier, North Face, Graghopper, Timberland. You want companies that do an overlap between technical clothing and comfy clothing.

Just google outdoor clothing brands. Most of there stuff won't fit your aesthetic, you'll mainly be looking for one offs. Also you'll be spending a lot.
