The white Jack Purcell are solid but beware of alternate models that sacrafice build quality. The ones at Barney's are solid. A lot of designers and brands have white leather influenced or emulating converse. The price is pretty steep since it is leather, but you can always look out for deals. Keep in mind that I only prefer leather cause it lasts longer and allows for the shoe to age and I find this to be great on white shoes. Just my opinion.

I bought some 1000 mile boots that seemed good in size, but if I walk in them all day I tend to get sore at the ball of my foot. It can turn into blisters if I use the boots a lot several days in a row. I think this might be because the boots are actually too big, so my feet slide back and forth in them as I walk.
