as for fit, pants fit perfectly, shoes are nice, but the shirt and pants are relatively warm, making the denim jacket look especially blue and saturated, which wouldn't be so bad if it weren't such a generic indigo.

I have a question, thought this'd be best place to post: I've bought a couple of pairs of trousers recently and the amount they've stretched has been absolutely retarded, about 3-4 inches on the waist so they fall down all the time. Is this stretching to be expected with every pair of trousers with elastane, or does it apply to cotton too? How can I possibly tell how much a pair is going to stretch when I purchase it? Have I got to walk around with a super-tight pair for a couple of days to wear them in?

You can't really tell how much something will stretch. Each brand and each material is different, even if it's all cotton. For example, the all cotton banana republic t shirts always shrink while the all cotton ck shirts don't shrink.
