both are essentially the same gimmick in a different context to convery different things, notice how clean and immaculate the pant and cuff are, the taper, and the contrast on the pic you posted. that's not the same thing the image above is going for. one is clean and modernist while the other just wants to bring more attention to his feet by creating a rupture, and the imperfect cuff reflects the shoes' scuffs.

anyway, stick to yer rules if ye want.
