What I did was to do a rasterbation of an image I liked and covered the entire wall with some industrial chimneys

Can't find a pic of it, but that's the only way to get on the next level beyond shitty posters and bad art

Do your own design or find one you like that doesn't just end up being a rectangle in the middle of a wall - never liked that way of presenting images

Here's an example of a rasterbation

You can do a lot better than this also, make sure you cut off the edges with a proper guillotine to get them exact, and make a larger print with something interesting.

There's plenty of great fashion images, so if you want to make your room fashionable why not do so literally?

Also, you can't go wrong with classic art.
