What's something you'd like me to write about /fa/ ?

I'll cover just about anything if it piques my interest. Fashion related obviously and probably not something ultra consumerist like a guide to buying shoe laces and probably nothing ultra conceptual and nebulous either like the conflict of eclecticism and avant-garde within the conformity and consumer based realm of fashion.

Something in between the two would be nice. I ask because I kind of want to start writing on tumblr to try and raise the level of fashion dialogue on the internet currently.

So what's a subject you'd like to see me cover?

Being new to fashion there isn't much to ask about specifically because it's all new and overwhelming, but what books or other readings can you recommend to someone just starting off and sincerely wanting to learn more. Just like covering the history of fashion including heritage brands, big parisian and italian houses, the avant garde movements in the east and how they influenced similar movements in the west.

I feel like people (or at least myself) will be able to discuss fashion better after learning more from independent study rather than you spoonfeeding us specifics or summaries.
