British autumn is coming, and I need a waterproof shell before the imminent rainstorms. Any recommendations?

pic related: uniqlo mountain parka. i know it aint a real parka but i've been interested in it none the less

>> No.6850633

i've been eyeing the beige one. anyone got a pic of what the colour looks like in real life, save me a trip into central ldn

>> No.6850642

H&M m65 or uniqlo army m65?!

>> No.6850644

bump, I'm actually waiting for mine to come in, will take a picture with it when it does
It's a little shorter than what most people deem a parka, but there is a pic on here somewhere of a 5'11 wearing size M and it looks pretty damn good for $60

also, I'm 6'2 and 145lbs...was told to buy a small, but I sized up because I've heard their outerwear runs a bit small

does anyone have any experience with h&m outerwear? i might pick up a jacket, but is the quality overly shit?

I've read more than a few times that, specifically, their outerwear runs small. That's all I said.

Anybody got any experience with H&M coats/parkas?

Thinking about copping this, £40

I have a wool coat from h&m that lasted me a couple of winters, but now the material feels like shit. cost about 60 quid i think. also that parka doesn't look that good, i'd go for uniqlo

I got a trench there a few years ago. Quality is good and It's still holding up. I use it pretty sparingly though, maybe wear it 20 times in a year

As in quality wise or fashion wise?

Also Uniqlo are out of stock in every size for pic related, so I'll think about it

I can vouch for this. Bought a wool h&m duffle coat ($120) last year and wore it every day (frigid Colorado winter). Got it dry cleaned when the spring season came now.... it just looks off. And doesn't feel too warm anymore.

Bought a parka from there last autumn for £40. It's pretty decent quality and has held up well, plus I get lots of compliments when I wear it. Would recommend.

both m8. i'd get the uniqlo one, they should restock at some point. the h&m one doesn't look like it would hold up in heavy rain as well as the uniqlo one as well

Wtf, the outerwear fits true to size while their shirts run big.
