up until like a week ago I'd give really sincere thoughtful advice to obvious newcomers but they just suck... so much. I then realized that I didn't bother posting fits here until I knew they were passable. If I could lurk /fa/ for months and learn to dress well without shitting up WAYWTs and asking for help then so could they. So now I just ignore them

There is a general lack of quality content generated due to a general lack of unwillingness on behalf of new posters to study and internalize the board culture.

The only reason one will shit on people asking for help with basics or CDB threads or w/e is due to the high frequency of similar content generation, repeated over an extended amount of time.

I don't see anybody here talking about Coco Chanel and Paul Poiret, in fact you don't even need to know shit about designers to see if something is good or not.
You just watch pictures and sooner or later you'll find a pattern that everybody follows.
