How do you guys feel about parkas/outerwear with vibrant colourblocks? I like the street vibe they give off when paired with more serious pieces, but I don't normally see them used in fits, with the exception of some one the norse projects shots.

Ok, so I'm considering copping a pair of CPs, but I have a few questions before I decide since it'll be my first ''big'' purchase.

First off, how is the quality? I know they will wear out with time, but will they just look worn or do they look trashed after a year or two?
How are the sizes? I've heard I should size them down, but never heard how much? If anyone could post the measurements of the shoe I'd appreciate it.
Lastly, is there a better place to order them from other than their website? I live in Sweden and if I could reduce the shipping costs that'd be great.

Quality is high, but the print on the sole isn't very deep. If you wear them all day everyday I'd imagine it might become a problem if you ever needed traction (snow, rain).

What size are you in another brand? I can measure my size 40's if you'd like, prob won't be much help unless you're close to a 8-9 US.

I would most likely only wear them during summer and early fall since winters here tend to be pretty cold.
I usually go for size 9-10's in US sizes and 42-43, so maybe size 40 or 41 would be a good fit?

Newfag here. I've been browsing for 2 weeks now after i realized i wear ugly, baggy clothes.
I tried to buy some better fitting, better looking clothes on a pretty low budget (8€ h&m t-shirt, 50€ cheap monday jeans, 70€ nike mid-top sneakers).
I know it's really really basic but definitely a big improvement to a few weeks ago. How does it look/fit?

well the "standard" converse JP's (http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/shoes/sneakers/PRDOVR~69244/69244.jsp)) are canvas, but apparently they really cut down on quality from the original JP's - shittier laces/sole/general construction
the mr porter ones look similar to the JP originals, and mr porter is general not as butt as converse so I'm hoping the shoes are closer to what they were before converse
