So I'm a fairly thin guy, but I've always had a pretty big butt. (Like a black guy butt on a white guy)

T-shirts ar unflattering on me (unless they're fitted), because they don't just hang straight down. They make me appear a lot heavier than I really am.

I've gotten into the habit of wearing tucked-in collared shirts because it forms a clear break at the waist. If I wear a jacket, I either go for one that breaks high on my body (like a bomber jacket), or I wear one with a vent.

Anybody got any advice for me?

I have the same thing.

In Winter I layer a really long tee underneath my other stuff. It does get raised because of the ass (like in the pic) but because it's not all I'm wearing, it obscure the ass and isn't too noticeable.

I don't know what I'll do for Summer. Apparently some girls find this attractive but it's revolting to me.

>> No.6778278

I used to think I had a big ass too but most likely it's just that

a) you're not as thin as you think you are and your body stores more fat on your ass than most people due to genetics - if you're above 15% body fat and still look "thin" you're probably skinnyfat and could do with more muscle and less fat. This won't make you look "too big" or "too muscular", you'll end up a similar size overall but better-looking and healthier; check the /fit/ sticky if you want.

b) if you are truly skinny then you might have a problem with your posture - google anterior pelvic tilt and lordosis

Sorry if it sounds like I'm calling you out or anything, just most people that complain about this have one or both of what I just described. Either way, getting fitter and building your upper-body strength should be the best long-term solution

Hey, thanks for the advice. I'm not positive that it's lordosis, but it can't hurt to work those exercises into my routine. (I'm not worried about looking "too big," I've got some huge Nordic strongmen in my family.)

Also: in early high school I actually was pretty chubby, so some of that fat may be retained on the butt. Because I've only been thin for the last few years, it's a bit hard for me to say.

my body seems to store like 100% of its fat on my arse/thighs

You have Lordosis. I had that too. Go ask /fit/ how to fix that. There are stretching exercises. Takes up to 1-2 months to fix it.

Hello everyone. I am a female with a relatively slim body, however my butt is a little unproportional to the rest of my body, and I have a similar problem to OP's pic. My upper half looks large because my shirts rest on my backside. I've tried tucking in my shirt , however I have a pear shaped figure, and so tucking my shirts makes my lower half appear much too large aswell. Does anyone have some suggestions for my problem?

I dislike the way my breasts look in tight shirts. Aswell, it is impossible to find women's slim fitting shirts that are not near sheer.

Buy a sewing machine. Buy shirts that fit your shoulders. Tailor your shirts at the waist. It takes like ten minutes once you know how to do it.

Its a reoccuring theme of females who post here who say "relatively slim" or "pear-shaped" to describe themselves. Thats why you got so much negativity, to answer your question, wear more shirts that are shorter i guess, lose weight to improve proportionality, just common sense but i hope it helps.
