okay to be honest you can pair a lot of stuff with it, i suggested wool because it's fantastic insulation, and it keeps you warm even if it does get wet (altho you are wearing a rain jacket i suppose)

I went to H&M with my girlfriend. I was pretty hesitant because I hear H&M is shit but when I got there, I really liked most of their mens clothing. I mean most of it I didn't like but it was incredibly easy for me to pull dozens of items off the rack that I really liked. So my question is kinda twofold:

Is it a bad idea to buy my wardrobe at H&M? not just basics items but also jackets, sweaters, shoes, and accessories?

Having a wardrobe exclusively from one location is boring. Mix and match. I think everyone needs the basics (check the sticky) and then slowly over time add to your wardrobe stylish, more expensive pieces. I don't know a single person whose wardrobe consists of like all Prada, Gucci, Balmain, etc. One of the richest people I know has six bespoke suits and only two pairs of (expensive as fuck) dress shoes. It depends on a lot of stuff, like your budget, where you live, how often you wear, how the rest of your wardrobe looks.

In general, the more expensive shoe is the better shoe. However, there's no sense in dropping all that money on a shoe if you are a student and the rest of your outfit is budget anyways.
