I like the whole preppy aesthetic, so I try and work it in when I can. Thing is though, most 'preppy' clothing is designed with rich, overweight white men in mind, not slim, athletic students (like myself). So I just take the concept of the pieces themselves (OCBD, crew neck lambswool jumper, boat shoes/brgues no socks, scarves) and make sure they're all modern fits.

I like Gant and PRL tho, and I wish J Crew had a decent supplier in England

This is pretty good but kind of American-focused. With his cardigan, chinos and desert boots in this scene James Bond is wearing what the chart would most closely categorize as prep but it sure isn't -- it's pretty standard European menswear.

Also there really aught to be a category for people who wear suits right -- the chart basically says that if you're wearing a suit you're either a fop or fedoracore.

True prep, however, does not involve any of those brands, it's more vintage and truer to what used to be worn (aka what your dad doesn't wear anymore). This is mostly vintage Lacoste, Izod, RL, Dooney boat shoes, Brooks Brothers, etc.

Adding in plain old business casual and menswear is problematic in my mind because technically, all of this is menswear, and much of it can be worn in a business setting.
