So I've read all the main stickies on color coordination, and in general blonde is given the "cool summer" pastely palette

How much of a difference does it make that I have platinum blonde hair? Any colors/items I should watch out for?

wut. There's nothing wrong with black for blonde people. OP, you primary concern should be skin tone if you're looking for 'your colours' or whatever, hair doesn't really come into it. I think it would be wiser to wear what you want anyway, departing from such a subscriptive approach to fashion isn't going to do you any harm
