Hey /fa/, what should a computer science + math major wear? Y-3 and general spacecore?
I want to be taken seriously as a programmer but I don't want to be fat with a neckbeard.

Spacecore is for experimentalists. Spacecore will draw attention.

If you're skinny you should go for that minimal black look popular with graphic designers. In other words, find your perfect black tee (mine is a Calvin Klein modal blend tee) and buy a closet full of them. Wear it with black slim jeans and black leather boots. If you want to stand out wear statement shoes, jacket or accessories. Techwear would be a good option too since it's highly functional.

Also, if you're supremely talented you can wear whatever the fuck you want. Silicon valley investors and bosses do not give a fuck. I literally wore a white Members Only jacket and grey tee to an interview at age 24 and nailed the job.

I'm planning to be a freelancer + sooper haxx, but I do plan having some business attire so no worries about that.

Oh yeah, I was going to add that. If I do get that $300k starting job ima definitely go full techwear. Maybe then I'll have a waterproof gf.

I was surprised by this too. Friend of mine was recruited for a starting business in Silicon and he was slob as fuck, but a real smart physicist+comp sci twerp.
