I know lots of girls who have great success with Diorshow. There are prescription treatments to produce thicker/longer lashes, but it's an expensive option. If you don't like full fakes, one of the easiest tricks is to buy full lashes and just trim them with a nail scissor and just apply small sections to your lash line wherever you need them.

I've found mascaras never really live up to lengthening expectations. You only get the dramatic effects on long pale lashes. That said. "they're real" by benefit is excellent.
