Oh. I just realized, the cotton is the applique, not the polyester. It's not a plain t-shirt, though. It's all poly-satin and looks like it might even be bonded or something? Many fused? I wouldn't say it's work $1k, but given that nobody else does many things like it for less, if you want it, that's what you pay.
