That is all you are, a price tag. To you your clothes are just a label, you're worse than "MUH JORDANS" goons. You probably own a pair of CPs and Geobaskets because you've seen them 50k times on this board. I own 30 pairs of shoes, the most expensive pairs only reaching £120. With the amount of choice I have when picking shoes to go with an outfit I rarely wear the same pair twice in a few days. Learn to dress well rather than coping stuff which has been /fa/ approved.

Definitely, I still remember the day I copped my Anns. I don't have anything against people who wear vans/cons all the time but I know I'd much rather save for a pair of high end shoes instead of impulse buying disposable pairs all the time.

What he's saying is he only owns three pairs of shoes, because he'd rather own a small amount of shoes as long as they are le best. When you think about shoes they're usually a make or break for an outfit. How do you expect to switch up your outfits if you're wearing the same pair of boots three times a week? I mean, even for a shut in people will notice that they wear the same shoes all the time. It just makes for a really boring wardrobe if you're constantly putting on the same footwear.

most people you meet will rarely ever change up their footwear at all. its rather excentric to wear a different pair each day. i think this is about personal taste, i couldnt even name 5 pairs of shoes id want to own if i had the money, there just isnt that much stuff out there that lives up to my standards. i own black cp lows, all-black raf velcro mids and TB wingtips, all three of which i already had before i got to this site for the first time. /fa/ is a shithole and i rarely ever come here anyways.

Fashion is a hobby, and like most any other hobby, quality is more important than quantity. Having a nice car in top performance is more important than owning 15 clunkers in different colors to a gearhead. Having 2 or 3 quality lenses makes more sense than 20 cheap Chinese knockoffs to a photographer.

The exception to this is collecting. If you plan on wearing your clothes and being comfortable in them, having lots of cheap clothes just to have more isn't recommended. This isn't /vp/, "gotta cop em all" isn't a smart outlook.

Bullshit is a good word for it. I can't even 100% figure out what it's supposed to be (obviously you're meant to wear the shoes with the clothes, but are they recommended, required, only possible options, shake it up suggestions...) and the idea of drawing an acceptability distinction between boat shoes, camp mocs, and those "blucher mocs" boggles the mind.

Also, it has no conception of a suit beyond the most formal, law or finance practice, which will lead to you fucking up the vast majority of suit-wearing situations.
