Sup /fa/

This is my first time here, yes I've read the sticky, so don't jump on me for that.

I'm trying to build a wardrobe/look but I am unsure about what I want. I know I'm not good enough for high tier brands, and cant stand the look of Gap and similar brands.

I have settled on trying to go for an American Eagle based wardrobe. However, within that brand they have a couple different styles and I'm struggling to find what style would fit me the best.

I find my biggest issue to be matching clothes. I could use some general matching rules when it comes to every day dressing. Like what color/pattern goes with what.

Also, do I get a haircut to match the clothes, or get clothes that match my hair? I have pretty terrible hair that is hard to work with. I posted a picture of me from a while ago, but it still gives a general idea as to what I look like and what we are dealing with.

I'm also really skinny. I have a BMI of 17ish. I still want the slim look, but I dont want to look like I'm gonna blow over.

Only buy Rick Owens and Raf Simons, that is the number one rule of fashion. They are literally the only two designers you can buy from.

Make sure your clothes are so expensive that you can only afford one item a month on your limited budget.

Please spend more than a couple minutes reading the sticky. Check out young stalin, and read as many infographics there as possible. It covers color matching and beginner basics.

Don't settle for AE. You can get more /fa/ fits at H&M and Asos at the same price point.
