So if I my usual boot size is a 8 should I go for a 7 if buying Dr marten's? Hows the fit?

Or do they already compensate? I'm buying on amazon and it says uk7/ us8.

Help please

How about you don't buy Dr. Martens

I sold a man a pair of size UK8(=US9) Docs to a man, but told him it was a US8.

He told me he normally wears an 8.

So I would say get a size up, they get better the more you wear them too.

not OP.... im a /fa/ noob...whats wrong with them? is it just personal opinion, or is it widely held stance on the boots?

Nothing, there are just some stuck up assholes here that like to force their own opinion on people.

I'd size up by one, but I do that for every boot.

I just got some 1461s 1 size down and they were still too big. But I guess each model is different. Is there no way you can try them on?

these ppl are on crack, either buy tts (uk7) or size down one (uk6). uk sizes are a size bigger than regular sizes. so uk7=us8, uk8=us9, ect

Nothing, they are extremely versatile and essential.

If you are going to wear them with bootcut jeans, size down, if you are going to wear them with skinnies, size up.

what the fuck are you talking about?

UK = US-1

Usually for Dr. Marten's you need to size down but for their other boots most of the time they're TTS. Either go instore and try them on or be prepared to exchange them once or twice.
