I will start:

I got the idea to wear pic related for a casual outing. I think green and red goes together well. But then on the other hand, its the classic christmas combination, so I anot so sure anymore if that is really a good idea.

take some acetone to the leather belt and "bleach" it

then use saddle soap on it to clean it real well

then restain with linseed oil, until dark dark brown

leave it unsealed and watch it naturally decay

That belt is probably not even real leather, so I doubt i'd like to use acetone on it. On the other hand, it was cheap, so I would not loose much…

easiest way to tell if it's real leather

knick the black edging with a knife, see if there are 3+ layes

if it's layered it's fake leather with pressed glued portions

had a cheap "belt blank" with that

think it was Armani exchange before I knew any better

If you're going to wear a bright red, you should reduce the proportions. Layer it with a v-neck sweater so only a splash of color shows. Or layer it with a black/charcoal jacket half-zipped or open so only a narrow strip is exposed.

egfw13 CPO jacket in 19oz red wool. drinkwater's has a few now, need supply is going to have them

egfw13 is like an entire season of insane red color matching. the fabrics are fucking expensive though. i kind of think i'm gonna be hunting down pieces from it for the rest of my life
