How do I get my pants to fall flat in the leg like in the pic. No matter what, my pant legs are always baggy at the leg. I'm a male and wear 510 Levi's.

The cut size (i.e., “19cm” or “21cm”) refers to the hem measurements of a tagged 32” pair of denim. For each size larger or smaller, add or subtract .5”, respectively. Ex: a size 30 in the 19cm cut would actually have a 18cm hem.

The really skinny ones are 17cm cut. The not so tapered are 19cm cut. So you can do the math and figure out what size the opening would be on yours.

Also, a big part of the fit is the extra long inseam which make them look not as skinny.

>> No.6587125

>>6587079

you cant, the tailor would have to take apart the whole pair of jeans and re cut the crotch area and inner leg to get them to fit like that, most likely.

>> No.6587129

also, the rise would need to be altered and waistband reset lower.

If you ever have a fit problem, take your clothes to a tailor.

I have big thighs from squatting, so I just buy roomier jeans and then get them tapered to a 6.75" opening. Pretty simple

I'm less concerned about the crotch and thighs, just want the opening to be slimmer and stack better instead of being so baggy.

>What kind of instructions should I give to the tailor to get jeans to fit similar to these?

i assumed this question meant having a different pair of jeans to fit like diors. i was just explaining why a different cut of jeans, like levis for example would be very challenging to tailor to fit like dior homme jeans due to the differences in terms of the cut.

but yeah if you already have diors, its much more straightforward, alterations are more minimal because the default cut is already similar to that.

>>6587166

try to find a pair of jeans thats 15.5-17cm leg opening, if you want them to stack nicely, like diors, get a pair with close to 38" inseam as possible. if all else fails, then get a pair tailored, tapered from a couple inches above the knee, but its really better to find a decent fitting brand off the rack for denim.

Depends on height.

If you are 5'10"-6'2" with those measurements, something like 19cm would be good.

If you are over 6'2", you could go to 17.5cm similar cuts.

These are a little too tight for my liking. Like the rest of the outfit though.
