I just picked up one of them basic cotton ones from muji for like £15, something light for summer. got an albam tote bag too.
still can't justify dropping loads on a backpack, unless it's something out of the ordinary.

it's fine for me. I don't really plan on using it to carry a lot of stuff, since it doesn't have any padding on the back and the straps are minimal.

they're nice and minimalist if that's what you're looking for.
