Just type how to pronounce followed by the designers name into Google whenever you come across one you don't know.

Written pronunciations are always going to be slightly off and most designers have a proper pronounciation floating around somewhere out there. For the record generally Youtube is absolutely fuck awful (unless you find something like interviews in the designers native language etc.) and Forvo is pretty legit. Also if you come across one with no pronunciation anywhere try searching for pronunciations of words / names with the same syllables in the same language and then cobbling them together in your head. That's worked pretty well for me whenever I run into a native speaker and remember to ask them if I'm doing it right.

Is this some sort of joke or do you guys seriously not know how to pronounce these names? I guess some American stereotypes are true.

I knew a french guy named Demeulemeester. He pronounced it duh-mul-may-stair (approximation). if you know some french or can look shit up it's the same de as in the word "de", wherein the e is theFrench "neutral" vowel and "eu" as in "deux" or "meule". The "ee" part is a french é or è, I can't really tell, I'm pretty sure you can just use whatever. It kind of sounds like the english "ay" (may, effay, say, etc) but flatter, more french, idk.
The "stair" part I'm pretty confident in because a friend of mine has a similar sounding name (Deschaepmeester) and he pronounces it the same way.

This is all french though, maybe people in Belgium pronounce it differently or whatever.

In french G's sound like J's and J's sound like G's . thus the jshi sound. Also ven is usually pronounced vin as in von with a soft o. and the chy makse another chi sound this jshi-von-shi
